Q:
Which areas do Selling House Fast buyers cover?
A: We have local experts in all parts
of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Q:
How do your prices compare to those I'd get from an estate agent?
A: It depends on a number of things,
like the type and location of the property. We usually offer around
75% of the open-market value (the price your house would be worth
to achieve a sale within 4-6 weeks). You may achieve a higher price
on the open market but there are no guarantees of a quick sale,
and you'll still have to pay additional costs such as Agents’
fees. We also help you to work out your next step - whether it be
rent-back schemes or a quick release of funds for your next property.
Q:
How long does it take?
A: We can move fast, if that's what
you need. If necessary we can exchange in 24hrs (subject to legal
paperwork being in order.)
Q:
How quickly can I get the money?
A: Your solicitor will release the
money as soon as the transaction is completed.
Q:
I don't have a solicitor, do I really need one?
A: Yes, we always recommend you have
legal support. We will pay your solicitors fees up to £500
on completion and arrange one for you if you like.
Q:
Will anybody know about the sale?
A: No, it's confidential. We don't
put a board up, we value your privacy.
Q:
If we are being repossessed and we have chosen to sell to you, do
we need to tell the people who are repossessing us?
A: You don't have to worry about anything.
The solicitor will talk to them and arrange for them to be paid.
Q:
Do I have to accept the offer straight away?
A: No, we want you to be 100% comfortable,
you are under no obligation.
Q:
Do I need a home information pack (HIP)?
A: No, when you sell to one of our
buyers it is a private sale so no HIP is needed.
Q:
What type of property do you buy?
A: We buy all types of property:
•
Maisonettes.
• Flats.
• Terraced/Semi or detached properties.
• Properties with sitting tenants.
• Ex-Local Authority.
• Property in need of refurbishment.
• Land.
• Even property that has been on the market for a long time.
Q:
Does the property need to be in good condition?
A: No. our buyers will consider any
property in any condition.
Q:
Will my estate agent mind if I sell direct to one of your buyers?
A: They will not be very happy about
losing their commission as this is what they care about. But you
must take care of yourself, your quick sale is more important. We
recommend you read your estate agents agreement and give the correct
notice.
